What does my money do?

The Liberty Foundation provides funding of wages for clerks-in-training at our newest program, Liberty Fresh Market. The Foundation also helps individuals to maintain employment in the community by underwriting part of the transportation costs for people in our supported employment program. Additionally, the Foundation Board has allocated funds in support of a new technology room to be developed in 2016-17.

In the past, Liberty Foundation has provided funding for Family Support Programs and other worthy programs benefiting individuals and developmental and other disabilities in the community. The Foundation also has supported community projects such as partial funding of the elevator at Amsterdam Free Library, access ramps for churches attended by individuals in program and grants to local agencies offering services to children with mental health issues.

Liberty Foundation is committed to supporting programs that benefit individuals with disabilities and our community-as-a-whole.
