Choices for Community Living Delaware, Inc., (CCL Delaware) is a subsidiary of Liberty, the Montgomery County Chapter of NYSARC, Inc. CCL was incorporated in 2003 and began providing services in February, 2004.
Like many agencies supporting people with disabilities, Liberty has changed and matured over the years. In 2001, the Board of Directors established a Strategic Plan to provide a road map for the organization’s development over the next 3 – 5 years. Realizing that an organization must grow in order to remain financially viable, the strategic plan included development of residential and day programs outside of New York State. Choices for Community Living, Inc. (CCL) was set up as the corporate entity under which programs outside New York would be developed.
CCL currently serves 18 individuals in New Castle County and 14 individuals in Kent/Sussex County in residential programs. Day supports are provided for 24 individuals. CCL currently employs 90 staff.
